Community Coordinator - La Voz of Loudoun
Job Summary - Oversee the English and Family Integration program and provide administrative assistance at ESL Classes. Responsible for administrative support of the organization. Duties include:
- Attendance at English and Family Integration program activities
- Working with adult students at ESL classes
- Assisting with children’s activities
- Providing administrative support to instructors and partner agencies
- Checking voicemail / email messages for the organization and responding accordingly
Minimum Qualifications - Advanced proficiency in the Spanish and English language is required.
Preferred Criteria - Resumes should indicate information specific to the preferred criteria listed below
- Two years experience doing administrative work, preferably in a community organization serving diverse ethnic and socio-economic groups.
- Case management for immigrant families needing crisis stabilization, referral or community services.
- Bi-lingual English / Spanish

Volunteer/Donation Opportunities for the English and Family Integration Program - Oportunidades para ser Voluntario o dar Donaciones al Programa de Inglés e Integración para la Familia
- Substitute Teachers – in the event that the teacher in unable to attend a scheduled class. Previous experience as an ESL teacher is preferred. On call.
- Set-up and Childcare – individuals willing to volunteer to set up and provide childcare. Opportunity to help for one class or ongoing. You must arrive at 6:30 pm to help prepare coffee, food, and activities for children. Two volunteers per class are required. Age range of kids varies from 2 to 12. Great fun!
- Donations of Food – it is very important that we have healthy snacks available for both parents and children. La Voz of Loudoun welcomes donations from restaurants, stores, or even home made goods.
- Donations of Activities/Items for the kids- La Voz of Loudoun welcomes donations of art supplies, movies, games etc. for the use of the children while their parents are studying.
- Donations of Raffle Prizes – at the end of each 8 week session, La Voz will raffle off items donated by local business in order to reward good attendance and effort.
- Maestros Sustitutos – en caso de que el maestro no pueda asistir a una de las clases. Se prefiere personas con experiencia previa en ESL. Recibiría llamada según la necesidad.
- Preparación y cuidado de niños – individuos que interesen ayudar en la preparación y cuidado de niños. Puede hacerlo una vez o cuantas veces desee. Deben estar a las 6:30 p.m. para ayudar a preparar café, comida, y actividades para los niños. Se requieren 2 personas por clase. Las edades fluctúan entre 2 a 12 años. ¡Mucha diversión!
- Donación de Alimentos – es importante tener alimentos nutritivos para los niños y adultos. La Voz of Loudoun agradece cualquier donación de un restaurante, tienda, e inclusive comida hecha en casa.
- Donaciones para Actividades/ Cosas para niños - La Voz of Loudoun agradece donaciones de manualidades para arte, películas, juegos, etc. para utilizar con los niños mientras los padres estudian.
- Donaciones para Rifas – al finalizar la sesión de 6 semanas, La Voz rifará cosas que han sido donadas por negocios locales para reconocer la buena asistencia y esfuerzo.

Loudoun Community Free Clinic - Volunteer Needs
The Loudoun Community Free Clinic is in need of interpreters! We need mostly Spanish interpreters. We also rely on volunteer physicians, nurses and administrative support. Another GREAT need is for Pharmacists.
The Clinic is also in need of the following volunteers:
- Nurses - needed for Wednesday and Thursday evening clinics, 5:30 to 9:00 pm. and Monday Diabetic Clinic from 10 am to 1 pm.
- Physicians and Nurse Practitioners - needed for Wednesday and Thursday evening clinics, 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
- Pharmacists- To act as support staff to physicians & dispense sample medications during clinic hours. The following hours are available: Wed. 6-9pm; Thur. 6-9pm.; 1st Thur. of each month 1-5pm; 3rd Thur. of each month 1-5pm. (You self-schedule)
- Registration Screeners- To assist new patients with completing registration paperwork, and determining eligibility for services. Daytime hours are available Mon.- Fri.; Flexibility with self-scheduling.
- Receptionists- To answer phone calls & perform light office work. Spanish as a second language is a plus, but certainly not required. Daytime hours are available Mon. -Fri.; flexibility with self-scheduling.
- Grant Writer- Looking for an experienced grants writer, willing to donate their time to write a successful grant for the Free Clinic. Perhaps a donation of one grant per year? Contact, Jennifer Montgomery at 703-779-5412.
- Clinical and non-clinical volunteers are always needed during evening clinic hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5:30pm-9:00pm.

This includes: developing curriculum, defining processes, evaluating outcomes and ensuring compliance. In addition the Unit Director is responsible for a after-schoolMiddle school program including staff over-site and program implementation. Qualifications:• 4-year degree preferred • Experience working with youth, particularly those in the 11-18 age range • Skilled in program development and operation as well out teen out-reach
